The Narogi jacket was originally the jacket of Japanese peasants working in the rice fields. The peasants patched it until it was completely worn out. The Kimono cut of this Japanese jacket, like all Narogi jackets, is designed to be practical for loose and functional movements (thinking of the hard work in the rice fields). It is therefore not only a very pleasant jacket to wear, but also very aesthetic and full of culture.
You will find the motifs of the great Kanagawa wave of Japan on the sleeves. It looks great on any kind of garment.
